SAS Mobile BI
for Windows 10
SAS Mobile Business Intelligence is a visual analytics solution that empowers decision makers with rich, interactive business reports anywhere and anytime. On the Mobile BI team, I was a UX/UI designer creating native interactions for the Windows 10 platform.
As a UX/UI designer working on a native application, my goal was to create seamless, natural-feeling interactions for Windows 10 users. In order to get a feel for the native platform interactions, I conducted research on existing Windows 10 software at the beginning of each design process. By studying the patterns that platform users were already be familiar with, I was able to more closely design the SAS Mobile BI product to meet those expectations.
As part of the design process, my team and I also conducted user research with Windows 10 users. By examining their interaction patterns and surveying the tasks they struggled or excelled at, we were able to address issues with the product's interactions and uncover new places to improve functionality. During the user testing, I first notated and examined the user's experiences and then compiled and visualized the results for analysis.
